Hardware
BeastCam is designed to integrate perfectly with all types of hardware, such as lenses, microphones, and rigs, etc. Tap on the menu icon to access the available hardware settings.

DOF Adapter
The DOF Adapter setting rotates your video 180 degrees, and provides a quick zoom option for an improved user experience with the Beastgrip DOF Adapter and DOF Adapter MK2. Learn more about the Beastgrip DOF Adapter MK2 here.
Image rotation
The DOF Adapter/DOF Adapter MK2 rotates your video 180 degrees, which makes it difficult to record on it's own. To fix this, tap the main menu icon and then the "DOF" Adapter icon to automatically correct your video's orientation.
Quick zoom
BeastCam also provides a unique feature that zooms in 4X with a single tap for quick and accurate focusing with the DOF Adapter. This icon automatically appears when the DOF Adapter setting is enabled and can be turned on/off quickly by tapping the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the screen.
Show screenshot of home screen with DOF activated then image will be flipped (or maybe gif animation)
Workflow
The easiest way to use the DOF Adapter/DOF Adapter MK2 with BeastCam is the following:
Mount the DOF Adapter to your rig, like the Beastgrip Pro
Attach your SLR or DSLR lens to the DOF Adapter and rotate it to align the focusing screen horizontally (see the docs on the DOF Adapter for more details)
Open BeastCam, enable the DOF Adapter setting, lock your focus and zoom in slightly to remove the visible edges of the focusing screen
Tap the Quick Zoom icon to zoom in to your subject, fine tune your focus with your SLR/DSLR lens and tap the Quick Zoom icon again to turn it off
Record
Bonus: you can create global presets to quickly enable all of these settings with a single tap, i.e. enable DOF Adapter setting, zoom in slightly, etc.
Anamorphic lens
An Anamorphic lens "squeezes"/compresses your video horizontally, so it can later be "de-squeezed"/stretched out for a wider aspect ratio of 2.4:1. It also gives your video dramatic horizontal lens flares, and makes it look more "cinematic." Learn more about the Beastgrip Pro Series 1.33X Anamorphic lens here.
Tap the "AL" Anamorphic lens icon to automatically "de-squeeze" your video during recording so you can see an accurate preview of the end result and eliminate the need to "de-squeeze" your video later.
Bonus: you can use the DOF Adapter together with an SLR/DSLR Anamorphic lens (not the Beastgrip Pro Series 1.33X Anamorphic lens) to add shallow depth-of-field and a widescreen aspect ratio to your video.
